Ryan + Kaila

I cannot express enough how much I love it when people not only choose the location for their portaits, but when it really means something to them! I had the priveledge of shooting Ryan + Kaila's engagement photos at Ryan's family farm. There were horses, long dirt paths, happy dogs running around, beautiful barns and loads of sunlight. Kaila looked beautiful in her lace dress and boots, and Ryan couldn't keep his eyes off her.

We walked around their property for 30 minutes or so, shooting here and there, and chatted about the rodeos they used to host and wedding plans. We ended our session by taking a ride down to the edge of their property to catch the sunlight. Their family dog raced along side the cart and was having the time of it's life following us around.

I am thrilled that Ryan + Kaila chose us to be their wedding photographers... it's going to be great! -Brooke

Brandt + Danielle

Last week I traveled to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to shoot engagement photos for Brandt + Danielle. We shot all around the streets and campus of Dickinson's Law School, where Brandt recently graduated from. I loved the little alleyways and tucked away corners of the town that made for some beautiful portraits! Seeing how photogenic and happy they are together makes me so excited to photograph their wedding next year! Enjoy some of my favorite images from their session below! -Brooke

John + Amy

I'm pretty sure Amy was one of the happiest, smiliest (is that a word?) brides we've ever shot. It was amazing. John + Amy's day was nothing short of wonderful. The sun was out, there were flowers everywhere and John + Amy were incredibly happy to be celebrating their big day with their friends and family. I adore the bride and groom shots we grabbed on the lawn right as the sun was setting. The warmth is fantastic!

Greg + Megan

A few weeks ago I took Greg + Megan to a few spots around Manheim that I had been waiting a while to photograph at! This is my favorite time of year in Lancaster. As summer turns to fall, the colors are like none other. My favorite moment during our session was when we traveled to photograph under the huge tree you'll see below. We had to park by a Kellogg's factory to walk over and the second we stepped out of the car my nose was filled with the glorious smell of what I'm convinced was Cocoa Rice Krispies. We shared stories of odd jobs, lots of laughs and had a great evening! I'm definitely looking forward to their wedding next year! -Jeff

Scott + Jennie

Scott + Jennie's celebration was one of three weddings that Kristen and I shot in a row, in New Jersey, and I couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off "Mega Weekend!" I absolutely loved shooting at Bonnet Island Estate in Long Beach Island. Their property was beautiful and I would shoot there any day. Jennie started her day by getting ready with her girls upstairs, while the guys stood in a semi circle downstairs and talked about business. Scott surprised Jennie by giving her a bracelet that matched her wedding rings and Jennie surprised Scott with tickets to the Eagles vs Cowboys game.

By 5:00 in the evening, the little wooden chapel on the estate was filled with family and friends and loads of sunlight. After the ceremony, I shot all portraits (family, bridal party and bride/groom) in 18 minutes, because the sun was setting SO FAST.

One of my favorite parts of the reception was when they followed "family tradition" for the song Dancing On The Ceiling and held someone upside down so they could actually "dance on the ceiling." It was amazing and I'm planning to steal the tradition. Oh! And there was a flashmob right after the speeches. Also amazing.

Enjoy my favorite images from their wedding and leave comments to let me know which ones you love the most! -Brooke

Joe + Beppy

Two weeks ago, I traveled to Maryland to shoot the wedding of Joe + Beppy. I knew it was going to be a beautiful one too, which made the 99 mile drive to Running Fox a little more enjoyable. Beppy was surrounded by her best friends as she got ready for the big day. Upon solving the mystery of the missing bouquets and flowers, Kalysta and I shot their first look out on the driveway - and as always, it was beautiful. I really do love first looks and can't recommend them enough.

Bridal party photos were followed by their ceremony at a local church and before we knew it cocktail hour was in full swing. We rushed to get back to the giant field behind the venue for more bride + room photos before it started to downpour. Thankfully the rain held off just long enough for me to snap a few of my favorite photos from their entire day. After their first dance, speeches and prayer, it began to rain like crazy. Guests spent the night dancing with glow sticks to country music, eating some of the best wedding cake I've ever had, and rushing back and forth from the tent to the house with umbrellas in hand.

Joe + Beppy's wedding was a beautiful celebration of love + family. Kalysta and I were incredibly happy to capture it all. Enjoy my favorite images below! Leave comments! -Brooke

Hannah

A few weeks ago I got to photograph a very special person in my life, my soon to be sister-in-law Hannah! We'd been talking for months about making this happen and after a few cancellations, we had a perfect evening to wander around town and capture some senior photos. Being away from my own family has been hard at times and I'm so thankful for having Hannah and her family nearby. I could go on for quite sometime about how awesome she is... how she's an amazing golfer, wits like none other and is hilarious to be around! But honestly, Hannah has the best idea's for family gatherings! I was so happy that she asked me to photograph her, and am even happier to be calling her a sister. Here are a few captures from our session! -Jeff

Nick + Alyssa

After I photographed their engagements, I knew Nick + Alyssa's wedding would be tons of fun! The two of them are probably in the top ten of nicest people I've ever met! No, seriously, they're THAT kind! When we made our way to the Peter Allen House for the reception, I immediately saw some high grass that would be the perfect spot for portraits. Deep down inside, I was hoping that Alyssa wouldn't mind taking a short hike into the woods. Thankfully, she was escatic about the idea and those photos of them are some of my favorites this year! I'm so thankful for clients like Nick + Alyssa, they make my job the best one in the world. -Jeff

Alex + Elise

Last year, right around this time, I shot the beautiful, sun-filled wedding of Alex + Elise. It was one of my favorites from last fall, so naturally I was thrilled when Elise asked me to shoot 1 year anniversary photos for them. They traveled to Lancaster for their session and we drove around to a few spots I'd been wanting to shoot at for awhile. It was really nice catching up with them and capturing their love all over again. I absolutely love shooting this time of year, the light is just incredible. Enjoy my favorites! -Brooke
