Katie

Katie is one of my good friends from school who just happened to win one of the three senior portrait giveaways. She will be a senior at Manheim Township and can't wait to graduate so she can pursue fashion merchandising. Brooke and I weren't surprised to hear this, as we were excitedly looking through the adorable, vintage-y clothing options she brought for the shoot. While walking around downtown Lancaster, we chatted about our common love for photography, fashion, and laughed about anything and everything. Katie shared with us about a little business she and her best friend started this summer. They go to thrift shops and find articles of clothing they like, then hand-dye them, and sell them. How cool?! Overall it was an awesome evening. I enjoyed assisting and I think that Brooke captured Katie's personality just perfectly. Enjoy our favorite shots! [MB]

Morgan

I first met Morgan several years ago when I was the videographer at her sister's wedding, but didn't realize Morgan was who I was shooting until she walked through my front door! Morgan will be a senior this year at Linden Hall in Lititz, which is an all girls school that was established in 1746! Morgan lives on the school's campus during the week but stays at home on the weekends. Maddie, Morgan and I chatted about riding horses, colleges and having nephews while we walked around the neighboorhood and shot. Our session was really relaxed and fun - and just another reason I love my job. [BC]

Liz

I just recently picked up the Canon 35mm f/1.4 lens and couldn't wait to try it out. And who better than my beautiful girlfriend to be my subject for the evening? One of Liz and I's first dates was taking portraits of each other in Lancaster City almost a year ago. Here are a couple of my favorites from our impromptu session! [JF]

Jeff + Mandy

I have a crush on the Sheldon's. There I said it. Don't judge me. But seriously, the entire time I was editing these photos I just kept thinking, "They are so cute. I really like them." Jeff Sheldon is the founder of Ugmonk and an incredible graphic designer. T.J. and Jeff starting emailing a long time ago about shirts and business things. Last Christmas Jeff created the "Last Shall Be First" t-shirt for walk in love. as a part of our collaboration collection.

Jeff + Mandy just celebrated three years of marriage and asked us to shoot photos in honor of their anniversary. They traveled to Lancaster City where we shot for about 30 minutes. We then headed to one of my favorite places to shoot, my Grandpa's backyard, and finished our session there. They were such troopers. It was humid. There were bugs. And everyone was sweating. Ehh. All that aside, two of their photos are already ranked super-high on my favorites ever list.

Enjoy! [BC]

Travis + Lexi

When I first met Travis and Lexi, they told me this great idea for an engagement session... take photos at Travis' airplane. Needless to say, I was PUMPED. However, due to the heavy winds that day, we were forced to leave it grounded. We still managed to make it a great session. I can't wait to shoot their wedding next month!

Here are some of my favorite images. [Jeff]
