This past Saturday Brooke and I hosted our annual Christmas themed party. This years theme was Tacky Christmas Wedding! It is always so much fun to have all our loved ones over and see what direction they took the theme. It's so hard to pick the best Smilebooth photos for the blog because they are all so funny. Enjoy our favorites and Merry Christmas! -T.J.
Ron + Helena
Ron + Helena's wedding was certainly one of our most anticipated weddings of the 2012 season for us. A beautiful couple in a stunning location?! Yes please! The entire wedding getaway was at Hotel Chocolate which has gorgeous views of the Pitan Mountains, along with some of the best onion rings I've ever eaten in my life. No joke.
Ron + Helena got ready for their wedding day in separate suites and then shared an intimate first look just below their rooms on the pathway to the hotel resturant. After T.J. and I shot a handful of bride and groom portraits we "headed up" to the ceremony location. With what might have been one of the most terrifying four minute car rides of my life (so I thought at the time!!) we drove up the side of a mountain to the ceremony spot. Once again, it was breathtaking. We were literally on top of a mountain overlooking the famous Pitan Mountains with the sun setting perfectly between the two. The ceremony was lead by Ron's father who sweetly remembered to bring along a photograph of Ron + Helena's dog, whom they all love dearly. After they exchanged vows, rings and their first kiss as husband and wife, champagne and bubbles filled the air while the sun set below the water behind everyone. And then we proceeded to go down the mountain in a little van.... which then offically became the most terrifying car ride of my life. (And I've been out of the country multiple times in my life!!)
During dinner at the Boucan Resturant family and guests offered toasts and congratulations to the newlyweds who were beaming with happiness. Cake was served. People danced on tables. And before we knew it everyone was down in the pool for the remainder of the night.
The night before our flights left everyone went on a sunset cruise around the island. It was truly breathtaking. Ron + Helena, along with their family and best friends, danced the night away off the coast of St. Lucia with drinks in their hands. T.J. and I were truly blessed to be a part of their wedding getaway. It was without a doubt the most beautiful location I've ever shot a wedding in! Both families were so sweet to T.J. and I that it really made our "mini working vacation" so much fun. If you want to see any personal photos that T.J. and I took the our trip, you can view them at my blog right here!
Hope you enjoy my favorite images below. And hey! If you're having a destation wedding but didn't think we traveled! WE DO! Contact us!! :) -Brooke
Rico + Kristin
Rico and Kristin have one of the cutest stories ever. They met because of their dogs. Each owning their own, they would take them to the same park every day. The second they met, Rico and Kristin were forced to become friends. And from there, the rest is history, two sets of best friends. Sam and I took a hike outside Philadelphia along a path they walk their dogs occasionally. My favorite photos are those taken on the rocks along the river. I love those fall colors! -Jeff
Jordan + Casey
Jordan and Casey shared their I do's at St. Josesph Church in Lancaster, PA. This church was in my back yard just a year ago and I never noticed it tucked into the city! It's a beautiful church with such wonderfully high ceilings. Tori and I were thrilled when we learned that they'd be dancing the night away at the lovely Riverdale Manor. This was also my first time there and after all the great reviews I had heard about it, I was beyond excited to experience it first hand. The light was beautiful right outside as we snapped portraits. Some of my favorite group shots are when the sun shadows leaked underneath their feet. It was a joy spending time with such a fun-loving group of families. Jordan and Casey shared their meals and first dance inside the Manor but took the rest of the party outdoors. The weather was perfect, the music was great and party seemed to never end. It's always nice experiencing firsts with weddings in Lancaster, and this wedding did not disappoint! -Jeff
Jay + Maggie
Off the Chester River in Maryland lies one of the most beautiful properties ever. Passed down through Maggie's family, this house has been a place for many memories. Jay + Maggie's wedding day was nothing less than another spectacular memory for both families to share. I can't express how stunning the house was. An absolute photographer's dream. So many beautiful details, combined with those from the wedding made it perfect. The ceremony was held in the backyard, overlooking the river. With the sun beaming down, Jay + Maggie said their I do's in near-perfect weather. And as the sun began to set, the celebration moved down the yard to a reception filled with color. One of my favorite parts of their day was seeing how passionate both families were about each other. You could see the love beaming from everyone. -Jeff
Isabella - WIL Christmas 2012
The last several weeks have been jam packed with styling and shooting sessions for walk in love.'s Christmas 2012 looks. I absolutely love that, as self employed creatives, we get to do it all. We design the shirts. We choose our models. We style. We shoot. We edit. We blog. We design. And it starts all over again. But that doesn't mean that it's not a crap-ton of work. Ha!
I was thrilled when our intern Tori suggested a girl she "kiiiind of knows" for photos. I love using fans of walk in love. for our models. It's been our thing since day one and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. While Isabella hadn't been in front of my camera ever before, with a little direction, she was a natural. Exactly what we were looking for! And a huge high five to her for our first shoot being a sunrise session! It was sooo early. And sooo cold.
Wanted to share just a few of my favorite images from this shoot. Be sure to check walk in love.'s blog over the next couple weeks as we flood it with fantastic images for our latest products! Enjoy! -Brooke

Ed + Mallory
I love shooting weddings at the Cork Factory for so many reasons. The brick, the lighting, and the wonderful hosts to some of our favorite couples! Ed and Mallory spent their day here and it was a beautiful day. I love walking around the property with the opportunity to take portraits with a more urban feel. They brought along these wooden hearts which allowed me to capture one of my favorite shots of the year. (*Them holding up the hearts with just their arms showing!) It was such a calm, joyous day to spend with an adorable couple. Here are some of Sam's and my favorites! -Jeff
Nick + Mallory
I'm excited to be bringing you the wedding of Nick + Mallory today. T.J. and I had such a great time shooting their wedding last month in downtown Lancaster City. Their families were so incredibly excited and happy for this beautiful couple - it was inspiring to see their joy for Nick + Mallory on their big day.
This wedding was certainly one of the most classic and elegant weddings we shot all year. But not without a few twists thrown in there! My favorite part of the day was when I caught Mallory changing her shoes in the hallway at the reception. She ditched her high (yet beautiful!!) heels for a pair of sneakers just in time for their first entrance as husband and wife.
While I'm thankful that our 2012 wedding season has come to and end, it's weddings like Nick + Mallory's that make me so excited for all that's to come in 2013. Looking forward to it!! Enjoy my favorites from Nick + Mallory's celebration. - Brooke
Elan + Janeace
There's something special about the old brickyard look that I'm infatuated with. Elan and Janeace were married at the Carlisle Ribbon Mill and it was beautiful! Before the ceremony, as I spent some time with Janeace making her final preparations, she opened up an extremely unique (and super cute) wedding gift from Elan. He had printed and framed their first conversation ever on Facebook. It's amazing that we live in digital world where records like that exist. That night I went home and looked up my first conversation with my girlfriend! Inside the Mill, the lighting was gorgeous. As family member after family member stood and read a blessing, it made me realize how special it is to keep your family close to you. Elan, Janeace and both their families were a joy to share a day of absolute love with. -Jeff
