Live For Summer

Yesterday morning I shot a few photos for walk in love. of Sam. She's moving to Texas in a month and I just had to shoot her one last time (besides her wedding) before she leaves. And wouldn't you know I had a beautiful flower crown to use!! A huge thanks to Jennie for the crown and to Jeff for the handwritten type.

Sam is wearing our Original Tee in Coral.

Here's to the first day of summer! -Brooke

Jake + Luciana

Jake + Luciana's wedding was beyond beautiful. I'll never forget the moment Brooke and I walked into the reception and saw an abundane of gorgeous flowers! And when I say abundance, I mean it as if we had just walked into a spectacular garden party. Two days prior to their wedding, it had rained for almost 48 hours straight. But by the time we were ready for portraits, the skies had perfectly cleared and the sun bursted free from the clouds. Everyone was beyond appreciative and kind to us as we shared this special day with both families. It was such a joy to see everyone squirm with happiness as I showed them my display screen. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Luciana's mother grabbed my hand and said that we were blessed for such a beautiful day. And it was so true. Jake + Luciana are two of the nicest and happiest couples I've ever had the opportunity to photograph! -Jeff

Steve + Sarah

Last fall when T.J. and I traveled to New York to shoot Steve + Sarah's engagements I remember saying something like "They're so comfortable in front of the camera, their wedding day will be a breeze!" Then I learned that their wedding was going to be held at the Cork Factory and my prediction was even more accurate. Steve + Sarah's wedding was nothing but wonderful and easy in the best ways.

The lovely couple had one of the best first look reactions I've ever witnessed. They were so excited to see each other and took a good five minutes to examine one another and their wedding day attire. It was awesome.

Steve + Sarah met at Franklin & Marshall college, so many of their bride and groom photos were taken on the F&M campus because it was extra special to them. I love when couple's do things like that - especially for their portraits.

A sweet ceremony was followed by a delicous cocktail hour, heartfelt speeches and loads of Smilebooth photos and dancing. It was such a pleasure to photograph Steve + Sarah's celebration. I'd do it all over again. Enjoy my favorite images! -Brooke

Tori

Friends, meet Razzle. I mean T. Razzle. No, T. Razzle Dazzle. I mean, Tori! She's about to graduate high school any day now and couldn't be more excited about it. Tori was our intern last fall and second shoots weddings with our team sometimes. She's always a ton of fun to be around and has a great sense of humor.

I shot her senior photos the other night in the perfect light and temperature. It was awesome. Enjoy! -Brooke

Jake + Traci

Jake + Traci's wedding celebration could easily be described in several words - laid back and creative. And those are hands down my favorite kind to photograph. Traci got ready at her parents house, which always adds an extra dose of intimate to any wedding day. She got dressed in her parent's room with the help of her sister and Mom. Then Traci's dad helped put her shoes on, walked her down the stairs, and shortly after was walking her down the isle.

I loved Jake + Traci's use of dinosaurs throughout their wedding, both hanging from their alter and as their escort card holders. So fun! Portraits were a breeze in the beautiful sunlight and I'm pretty sure that the four of us (T.J., Traci, Jake and myself) all exclaimed "Did we just become best friends!?!" at some point during photos. Jake + Traci were just those kind of people. The kind that made you feel welcome anywhere and as if you'd been friends for awhile.

Everyone danced the night away despite the crazy thunderstorm that closed out the evening. The Smilebooth was a huge hit (as always!) and I really think that Jake + Traci would describe their wedding celebration as one of the best days ever. I think I would too.

Matt + Laura

Sometimes there are weddings that we *star* on our calendars and talk about for months before hand because we are simply so excited to shoot them! And then there are the ones that completely surprise you in the best way possible. That was Matt + Laura's. I knew, without a doubt, that their paper goods would be amazing, since Laura works/worked for a stationary company. When I recieved their invite in the mail, I knew it'd be a great wedding to shoot. But I really didn't know just how good it would be. It was all around fantastic.

It rained for 85% of Matt + Laura's wedding day. And you'd never know by looking at the photos. As Jeff and I drove onto the property of Ironstone Ranch we were having one of those "Okay, what if it rains the entire day?-you shoot there-I'll shoot here-I believe in us-go team!!" kind of conversations. We hopped out of our cars and sloshed through the tall grass towards the barn. I went to find Laura while Jeff put Matt in place for their first look. And then like we had planned it all along, the sun came out and it stopped raining for about 45 minutes. We shot all of the bride + groom photos and the bridal party in some of best weather I've had all spring. It was seriously amazing and everyone was such a good sport for walking around a soaking wet property.

Matt + Laura's day was one of those weddings I'll remember for a long time. Wonderful people, incredible attention to detail and delicous food. The makings of a good day, any day. I am so thankful for clients like Matt + Laura who make me love my job a little bit more with each image. Enjoy the photos and remember to leave comments... it makes us feel extra cool. -Brooke

Nate + Nga

Sometimes you find out that your new favorite location is right down the street. I'm glad that Brooke and I took Nate and Nga on this little walk in Manheim. It was always one of those places that I thought "Oh, this would be a great place to photograph," and indeed it was! Nate and Nga were so much fun to spend an afternoon with this past weekend. And they have the cutest story ever! Nate worked at a Pizza shop in Philadelphia and Nga lived above it while they both attended Temple University. Adorable. Their wedding is just a few weeks away and I can't wait to capture it. But for now, here are some of our favorites from their engagement session! -Jeff
