I recently had the privilege of shooting walk in love.'s Take Heart Lookbook in Lancaster City. It was really, really great! I am so excited to be sharing the first sneak peek images of our future office for Brooke Courtney Photography, walk in love. and VRSLY. It's right down the street from where we live and currently work and it is much larger than our current place. We hope/plan to move in at the beginning of May, so be on the lookout for more before + after photos - and even an invite to our office warming party! The new space will be big enough to host workshops, in-house concerts + events, parties, indoor studio options and more. Seriously, we are SO excited.
Happy 23rd Birthday to our emo-music loving, email managing, cryer-at-cute-things, friend Tess. She's the best and we couldn't image our team and office without her.

I am so happy to finally be posting about Matt + Lauren's beautiful, October, beach-side wedding. I photographed their day over what we at BCP called "Mega Weekend" - where our team had 14 events in three days. So, as you can imagine, not everything was blogged and posted from that crazy time. It was bananas.
In fact, Matt + Lauren's wedding was recently featured in Shore Weddings Magazine... which I haven't even seen yet! You can see the online feature here!

I am so excited to share with you all some images of Kyle + Sarah's wedding! Not only because this was an awesome wedding, but it was also my very first official wedding shooting for Brooke Courtney photography. I cannot express how excited I am to be a part of this great team and I am looking forward to the rest of the weddings I am shooting this year!! Kyle + Sarah were the perfect couple to start out with! They were so laid back and easy going. The coolest part of the entire day was as soon as the ceremony began it started to snow! It was the perfect backdrop for when they said "I do!" It continued to snow through the portraits and made for some epic images. Congrats Kyle + Sarah!
I was happy to shoot my first wedding of 2014, with the wonderful Liz Parrett by my side, several weeks ago at the Lancaster Arts Hotel. Michael + Sarah tied the knot at the local Justice of the Peace and it was... amazing. And short. And beautiful. I loved it.
Another thing that made me super happy on their day was that Tara (from Splints & Daisies) did the florals and it made everything extra beautiful, even with the temperature below freezing.

As the Northeast is admist one of it's coldest winters ever, Alex, Gabbi and I lucked out with one of the warmest days this season! The temperature peaked at a "warm" 45 degrees as we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Marsh Creek State Park. There is a gigantic lake inside the park, which was completely frozen over. It was the perfect backdrop to set the scene for this wintry session. We talked about wedding plans, spilt hot chocolate all over each other and enjoyed plenty of laughs. I'll be photographing their wedding early in 2015, something I'm looking forward to very much! -Jeff
People who show excitement for life are inspiring. Joel + Rachel are the epitome of life enthusiasts. It's such a joy to spend time with people who really care about photography and the art that I love to produce. And about life! We spent a lovely afternoon traveling across Lancaster City a few weeks ago and lucked out with a beautiful day! After sharing some cider at the Prince Street Cafe, wandering around a local garage, we headed to the beautiful Farm at Eagle's Ridge. With perect timing, we arrived just as the sun was perfectly setting behind the lake. I'm so thankful to meet Joel + Rachel, and beyond anxious to celebrate with them next year! -Jeff
