I'm so happy to be sharing some of my favorite images from Tim + Hilary's engagement session. Hilary worked for us at the walk in love. store and she was always talking about this "Tim guy".... so everyone knew it was only a matter of time until they were engaged. They're a great match and I really enjoyed photographing them for the first time. I can't wait for their wedding next year! Enjoy!

Halloween Dance Fest 2014

Last night was our 4th Annual Halloween Dance Fest and we were so happy to host everyone in our new(ish) studio! It was perfect for our party. Everyone's costumes were ballin' this year - so let's get right to the Smilebooth photos! Congrats to our costume winners below!

Kyle + Patricia

Kyle + Patricia are probably one of the nicest couples I have met... ever! I always love when the couple picks the venue for engagement pictures and Kyle + Patricia did just that! Kristen and I went to the park where Kyle proposed to Patricia. It was so fun walking around with them as they relived that special day and the weather could not have been any better! Both of them were so relaxed in front of the camera and had so much fun with each other during the shoot. It only got me more excited for their big day next October!

Ian + Betsy

T.J. and I first met Betsy when we came to The Farm at Eagles Ridge to shoot some photos for a brochure they were making.  We spent that day talking about weddings, life and all the things they had to look forward to stepping into the world of weddings.  Fast forward twoish years and The Farm is one of the premiere venues in Lancaster County.  Our team loves to shoot there and are so thankful for how Betsy and her sister Paige treat us on a wedding day.  They are kind, level headed and will do whatever we need to do to get the shot.  They are amazing!

Last Friday T.J. and I headed to The Farm at Eagle's Ridge to shoot Betsy and her fiancé Ian's engagements!  We spent our time talking about their wedding season at The Farm, what they like to do for fun and which shows are their current Netflix favorites.  My favorite part of the engagements were when Betsy got the "church giggles" over Ian being a weirdo and couldn't stop laughing.  T.J. and I are so honored to be shooting their wedding next fall, it's going to be amazing!  Enjoy a few of my favorites and if you need a great venue to get married at make sure you check out The Farm at Eagles Ridge! Jesse + Tess

T.J. and I first met Tess when she applied to work at our walk in love. Stone Harbor store.  We loved her immediately and happily gave her the job.  While working in Stone Harbor some of the walk in love. Lancaster team would visit. On one of those visits our team member Matt brought his friend, Jesse.  A few weeks later, Jesse visited Stone Harbor by himself. And then again, and again and again. Hmm... Interesting, right? Before we knew it, Jesse + Tess were inseparable. A few months ago, while walking on the beach, Jesse dropped to one knee and asked Tess to marry him (insert crying emoji)!

Tess is one of my favorite people.  She has been a friend, an employee, a thrifting buddy and hopefully she will be a babysitter of our little girl in the future!  T.J. and I are thrilled that we get to be a part of their big day next year! Scott + Liz

Last weekend, T.J. and I traveled to Annapolis Maryland to shoot Scott + Liz's wedding. We stayed in a trendy little hotel and enjoyed walking around town both before and after their big day. It was sort of like an early birthday getaway for me!

Liz is a longtime friend of Shea, who T.J. went to college with. So, T.J. had meet Liz once or twice before, but I never had! Liz was so excited to see us when we arrived at her parent's house - it was awesome. Once everyone was ready, we took a trolley to the venue, the beautiful Historic London Town and Gardens.

One of my favorite parts of their wedding celebration happened right after Liz walked down the aisle. Scott was so excited to see her that right after she hugged her Dad and turned to Scott, he tried to kiss her. Liz obviously put her hands up to stop him, not wanting to be kissed before the "you may kiss your bride" moment - but everyone got a good laugh out of the interaction!

Scott and his family are British and so I basically listened to anything they said because their accents were so awesome. You'll see that some of the groomsmen had the British flag on their socks, while others had the American flag!

T.J. and I really enjoyed shooting Scott + Liz's big day. It barely felt like work. And I love when that happens. Enjoy!

Kyle + Melissa

Kyle + Melissa's wedding was incredibly laid-back and fun. From their heartfelt details to the amazing southern BBQ dinner, their day was nothing short of sweet! Not even the rain stopped people from dancing the night away to blue grass music and eating large amounts of pie.

Both Kyle + Melissa, to my knowledge, work and write for Buzzfeed, or AOL, or the Huffington Post or Living Social - or all of them. I'm really not sure. But what fun jobs to have! In fact, that's how they met!
